成人式

４年前の今頃、私は母の着物を着てはれて成人を迎えた。
あれから４年、今では結婚して一児の母です。

今年は、またまたいとこの成人式！！！
やっぱり、今の子はすごい！若い！っと思った。
一番驚いたのが、１人ほど着物姿を台無し・・・着物を肩の下まで下げて、ブラみたいな下着を思いっきり見せていやがる。私は成人式ぐらいちゃんとしなさいって思うが、やっぱり人それぞれなんだろう。

私の家が式場から近いという事で、私の家に親戚が大集合！
20人以上で、約半分が子供達。
コーラこぼしたり、イクラが床に落ちていたり、旦那のPSのコントローラーが一時壊れたり。
でも、とっても楽しかったわー。

Back from CA...

Our trip to CA was wonderful! This is my first time to meet JD's family side. It was so awesome.

1st week, We went to JD's best friend's graduation at paperdine university from master's.
On JD's birthday, We had really nice dinner with his dad's side of family. JD's dad's birthday is just only week away, we celebrate together with them. 2nd week, we went to spend the time with our grandparents. We went to shopping with them. Grandma took us to down town L.A too. oh yea, I can not forget about baseball game! I saw my favorite baseball player in entire world, ICHIRO!!! yay! It was so awesome! our last week, we went to JD's sister's graduation from paperdine university. We sat outside so we both got really crazy sunburn. After graduation, we also had a little party for her.

ummm... what else....oh yeah, JD's dad took us to four wheeling. I only ride for few minutes but it was so much fun.

On our last weekend, we spend the time with grandparents again. we had a little going away party at their house.

Our last 2 weekends....

Our last 2 weekend was busy but fun. We went to search for baby girl clothes at one of flea market on base. We found a lot of clothes for really nice deals.

Also my cousin's kids from Nago (north of Okinawa) came down to our house. They have 3 boys!!! so our quite house turns into Childcare center for that night. My husband and I decided to not to have 3 kids. We both think 2 is enough for us. Well, I would like to have more than 2 but since we are military family and going to move around a lot plus He is going into the sea duty for next 3 years... I am thinking about going to my parents while he is out at sea. but who knows...









One of my friend had a baby girl last week so I went to see her and her baby. Baby was so tiny. I was holding her like 2 hours and never want to give her back. I just thought about myself I am going to have this in like 3 months. kinda makes me crazy! I can't wait.



So this weekend, weather was finally sunny out so we decided to go to driving north! So we did. well, on the way there, my husband wanted to wash his car so we stopped at car wash place to do his car done. since my husband washed his car, weather started to change... then when we got to Manzamou corp, it started rain! I shouldn't of said yes to his car wash. but other than that, Manzamou corp was great view. Of course it was so much people so we are only there for like 20 min.

We are having a baby girl!

Today, we went to see doctor and found out we are having a baby girl. We already picked name for her. Erika Maki Burnham.
Erika kicks me around all the time. I can't sleep in the night because my baby moves around everywhere! well, I guess that means its a healthy baby.



Yesterday was White day in Japan. A lot of people wouldn't know about White day. Well, its like a Valentine's Day. but in Japan, Feb 14th, a girl have to give a present to a boy and White day is just a opposite. On march 14th, a boy have to give a present to your lover girl.
So yesterday, my lovely husband brought me a lovely cake from Jimmy's. It was so awesome!

I am back to blogger!

Hi everyone!
I'm sorry! I haven't post any blog for so long... this past couple months been crazy!
First of all, I am now married to my wonderful husband JD. We were talking about getting married month later in our relationship. We had to do so much paper work with millitary to get married. It took almost 2 months to get married. After that, we are still doing more paper work with them so we can have our own place out in the town.

Another news is... I am 17 weeks pregnant. Baby is due in July 6th.

Hiji Falls, Okinawa

Can you believe Oct is almost over!!! Nov is coming next week and this year is going to be end soon enough... Crazy! Well, talking about Oct, me and JD went to couple places in Okinawa I never went. It was acutally amazing places. So I would like to post and show you guys Hiji Falls and Hedo Point.

Oct 9th, 2006
Couple of my friends invited me and JD to Okuma Beach. So we decided to go to Hiji Falls before we meet them. It was absolutely beautiful! Its about 40 min hike on paths and up and down very steep man-made steps. I was getting tired on the half way there.... When JD and I got to the main falls and across the rocks, I was so pround of myself;) It was so beautiful and absolutely worth for the 40 min hike on the up and down steps. On the way back, my legs are already tired...


After we had a lunch, we went to Okuma Beach to meet my friends. We are there for a little while and decided to go up the north to Hedo point.

It was sooooooooo beautiful up there!!!!!
